This Cabernet just won Best-in-Class at the San Francisco Wine Chronicle wine competition. It is a great example of the quality wines that can be produced in our warm growing region. The grapes are from an old vineyard east of Tranquillity and are picked at the peak of ripeness, then handcrafted in a small batch into the finished wine. The ripe fruit and tannins are very well balanced and the gentle acidity and 15% ABV contribute to its full body and roundness. We know you will enjoy this Cab with any meal, special occasion, or “just because”.
Tempranillo is easily one of the most versatile wines in the world (in our opinion). It is well-suited to the warm growing region of California’s Central Valley and this wine proves it. It received Gold and the San Francisco Chronicle wine competition (and was- by far- the least expensive wine to do that well) and is a great example of a warm climate tempranillo. Its subtle spice and acidity along with its balanced fruit and tannin character makes it the perfect wine for… well just about anything.
